今天jīntiān，我们wǒmen班bān有yǒu一yī个gè新xīn同学tóngxué。

Today, our class has a new classmate.

她tā叫jiào小美Xiǎoměi，是shì中国Zhōngguó人rén。

Her name is Xiaomei, she is Chinese.

我wǒ问wèn她tā：“你nǐ今年jīnnián多duō大dà？”

I ask her, "How old are you this year?"

她tā说shuō：“我wǒ十shí岁suì。”

She says, "I am ten years old."

我们wǒmen一起yìqǐ坐zuò，一起yìqǐ学习xuéxí。

We sit together, and study together.

我wǒ很hěn高兴gāoxìng认识rènshi她tā。

I am very happy to meet her.
