在 + place + verb
To say where an action happens, put 在 + place before the verb: 在家读书 = read books at home.
他在家读书。 — He reads books at home.
多少 — how many
Use 多少 to ask about a number, usually a big or unknown one. It goes right before the noun.
你有多少书? — How many books do you have?
