I'm traveling in China, but I don't know how to get to the train station.
wèn一个yí gèrén你好nǐ hǎohuìshuō英语Yīngyǔma
I ask someone: "Hello, do you speak English?"
那个nàgerénshuōhuìzhǐhuìshuō中文Zhōngwén
That person says: "No, I can only speak Chinese."
shuō没关系méi guānxihuìshuō一点儿yìdiǎnr中文Zhōngwén
I say: "That's OK, I can speak a little Chinese."
wèn火车站huǒchēzhàn怎么zěnmezǒu告诉gàosule
I ask him how to get to the train station, and he tells me.

一点儿(a little)

一点儿 after a verb shows a small amount or limited ability.

我会说一点儿中文。— I can speak a little Chinese.
