发烧感冒 Fever and Cold — HSK 3 Reading

前天qiántiān晚上wǎnshang下xià大雨dàyǔ，我wǒ没méi带dài伞sǎn，回到huídào家jiā的de时候shíhou，衣服yīfu上shang都dōu是shì水shuǐ。

The night before last it rained heavily and I hadn't brought an umbrella; by the time I got home, my clothes were soaked.

昨天zuótiān早上zǎoshang，我wǒ一yì起床qǐchuáng就jiù觉得juéde头疼tóuténg，一直yìzhí想xiǎng睡觉shuìjiào。

Yesterday morning, as soon as I got up, my head hurt and I kept wanting to sleep.

我wǒ想xiǎng自己zìjǐ可能kěnéng是shì感冒gǎnmào了le，就jiù吃chī了le一点儿yìdiǎnr药yào，可是kěshì到dào了le晚上wǎnshang，我wǒ开始kāishǐ发烧fāshāo。

The doctor examined me and said: "You have a cold, and you're running a fever of thirty-eight degrees."

他tā让ràng我wǒ先xiān吃chī三sān天tiān药yào，然后ránhòu在zài家jiā好好hǎohǎo休息xiūxi，多duō喝hē水shuǐ。

He told me to take medicine for three days first, then rest well at home and drink plenty of water.

现在xiànzài我wǒ吃chī了le药yào，睡shuì在zài床chuáng上shang，觉得juéde比bǐ昨天zuótiān好hǎo多了duō le。

Now I've taken my medicine and I'm lying in bed, feeling much better than yesterday.
