职业选择 Choosing a Career

大学dàxué毕业bìyè以后yǐhòu，每个人měi gè rén都dōu会huì遇到yùdào一个yí gè重要zhòngyào的de问题wèntí：选择xuǎnzé什么样shénmeyàng的de职业zhíyè。

After graduating from university, everyone runs into an important question: what kind of career to choose.

我wǒ的de父母fùmǔ希望xīwàng我wǒ当dāng老师lǎoshī，因为yīnwèi这个zhège工作gōngzuò稳定wěndìng，压力yālì也yě小xiǎo。

My parents hope I will become a teacher, because the job is stable and the pressure is low.

可是kěshì我wǒ对duì电脑diànnǎo技术jìshù特别tèbié感兴趣gǎn xìngqù，想xiǎng去qù大城市dà chéngshì找zhǎo一份yí fèn跟gēn网络wǎngluò有关系yǒu guānxi的de工作gōngzuò。

But I am especially interested in computer technology and want to go to a big city to find a job related to the internet.

朋友péngyou告诉gàosu我wǒ，选xuǎn职业zhíyè的de时候shíhou，工资gōngzī当然dāngrán重要zhòngyào，但是dànshì兴趣xìngqù更gèng重要zhòngyào。

A friend told me that when choosing a career, salary matters of course, but interest matters even more.

如果rúguǒ你nǐ每天měi tiān做zuò自己zìjǐ不bù喜欢xǐhuan的de事情shìqing，再zài高gāo的de工资gōngzī也yě不能bù néng让ràng你nǐ快乐kuàilè。

If you spend every day doing things you don't like, no salary, however high, can make you happy.

我wǒ想了xiǎngle很久hěn jiǔ，决定juédìng先xiān去qù一家yì jiā网络wǎngluò公司gōngsī试试shìshi，积累jīlěi一些yìxiē经验jīngyàn。

I thought for a long time and decided to first try working at an internet company to gain some experience.

爸爸bàba妈妈māma虽然suīrán有点儿yǒudiǎnr失望shīwàng，但是dànshì最后zuìhòu还是háishi支持zhīchí了le我wǒ的de决定juédìng。

Although Mom and Dad were a little disappointed, in the end they still supported my decision.

职业zhíyè就像jiù xiàng鞋子xiézi，合不合适hé bu héshì，只有zhǐyǒu自己zìjǐ的de脚jiǎo知道zhīdào。
