Grammar note 语法点

…,好吗? — making a suggestion

Add 好吗? after a sentence to suggest something and ask if the other person agrees, like 'okay?' in English.

我们写汉字,好吗? — Let's write Chinese characters, okay?
不太 + adjective — not very

不太 before an adjective softens it: 不太漂亮 = not very pretty. Note that 不 is read bú here, before the fourth tone of 太.

我写的字不太漂亮。 — The characters I write are not very pretty.
