我wǒ爱ài学习xuéxí汉语Hànyǔ，汉语Hànyǔ的de数字shùzì真zhēn有趣yǒuqù！

I love studying Chinese, and Chinese numbers are really fun!

你nǐ看kàn，一yī，二èr，三sān，都dōu很hěn好hǎo写xiě。

Look — one, two, and three are all easy to write.

十shí和hé一yī是shì十一shíyī，十shí和hé二èr是shì十二shí'èr。

Ten and one make eleven; ten and two make twelve.

我wǒ今年jīnnián三十sānshí岁suì，我wǒ女儿nǚ'ér三sān岁suì。

I'm thirty this year, and my daughter is three.

她tā会huì说shuō很hěn多duō数字shùzì，我们wǒmen都dōu很hěn高兴gāoxìng。

She can already say lots of numbers, which makes us all very happy.

会 + verb

会 means someone can do something because they learned it: 会说 = can say, 会写 = can write.

她会说很多数字。 — She can say lots of numbers.

person + number + 岁

Ages need no verb in Chinese — just put the number and 岁 right after the person: 我三十岁 = I am thirty.

我女儿三岁。 — My daughter is three years old.

sentence + 吗？

Add 吗 to the end of a statement to turn it into a yes/no question — the word order stays the same.
