晚上,我在家写作业,门口有人叫我。
One evening I was at home doing homework when someone called out at my door.
我问:“谁?”
I ask: "Who is it?"
外面说:“是我,你的同学。”
From outside, she says: "It's me, your classmate."
我笑着走到门口,说:“请进,请坐!”
I smile, walk to the door, and say: "Please come in, please sit!"
同学进来,看见我的桌子上有很多书,说:“你在忙吗?”
My classmate comes in, sees there are lots of books on my table, and says: "Are you busy?"
我说:“不太忙,我们一起做作业吧。”
I say: "Not too busy, let's do homework together."
她坐下,说:“好,我们开始吧!”
She sits down and says: "Okay, let's get started!"

Grammar note 语法点
请 + verb(a polite invitation)
请 before an action politely invites someone to do it, like English 'please'.
请进,请坐!— Please come in, please sit!
进 vs 进来(to enter / to come in)
进 alone just means 'to enter'; adding 来 (进来) frames the movement as coming toward the speaker.
同学进来,看见我的桌子上有很多书。— My classmate comes in and sees lots of books on my table.
在 + verb(doing something right now)
在 right before a verb shows the action is happening at this moment.
你在忙吗?— Are you busy right now?
