晚上wǎnshang，我wǒ在zài家jiā写xiě作业zuòyè，门口ménkǒu有yǒu人rén叫jiào我wǒ。

One evening I was at home doing homework when someone called out at my door.

我wǒ问wèn：“谁shéi？”

I ask: "Who is it?"

外面wàimiàn说shuō：“是shì我wǒ，你nǐ的de同学tóngxué。”

From outside, she says: "It's me, your classmate."

我wǒ笑xiào着zhe走zǒu到dào门口ménkǒu，说shuō：“请qǐng进jìn，请qǐng坐zuò！”

I smile, walk to the door, and say: "Please come in, please sit!"

同学tóngxué进jìn来lái，看见kànjiàn我wǒ的de桌子zhuōzi上shàng有yǒu很多hěn duō书shū，说shuō：“你nǐ在zài忙máng吗ma？”

My classmate comes in, sees there are lots of books on my table, and says: "Are you busy?"

我wǒ说shuō：“不太bú tài忙máng，我们wǒmen一起yìqǐ做zuò作业zuòyè吧ba。”

I say: "Not too busy, let's do homework together."

她tā坐下zuòxià，说shuō：“好hǎo，我们wǒmen开始kāishǐ吧ba！”

She sits down and says: "Okay, let's get started!"
