我想你 I Miss You in Chinese

我wǒ在zài北京Běijīng工作gōngzuò，妈妈māma在zài上海Shànghǎi，我wǒ很hěn想xiǎng她tā。

I work in Beijing and mom is in Shanghai; I miss her a lot.

晚上wǎnshang，我wǒ打电话dǎ diànhuà给gěi妈妈māma，说shuō：“妈妈māma，我wǒ想xiǎng你nǐ。”

In the evening I call mom and say: "Mom, I miss you."

妈妈māma说shuō：“我wǒ也yě想xiǎng你nǐ，你nǐ想xiǎng吃chī什么shénme？我wǒ给gěi你nǐ做zuò。”

Mom says: "I miss you too. What do you want to eat? I'll make it for you."

我wǒ说shuō：“我wǒ想xiǎng吃chī面条miàntiáo，可是kěshì我wǒ不bú在zài家jiā。”

I say: "I want to eat noodles, but I'm not home."

妈妈māma说shuō：“下个月xià gè yuè你nǐ回家huí jiā，我wǒ给gěi你nǐ做zuò面条miàntiáo。”

Mom says: "Next month when you come home, I'll make you noodles."

我wǒ笑xiào了le，可是kěshì我wǒ还hái很hěn想xiǎng她tā，我wǒ知道zhīdào，她tā也yě一样yíyàng想xiǎng我wǒ。

I smile, but I still miss her a lot — I know she misses me the same way.
