今天jīntiān晚上wǎnshang六liù点diǎn半bàn，我wǒ要yào去qù饭馆fànguǎn和hé朋友péngyou吃饭chīfàn。

At 6:30 tonight, I was going to eat at a restaurant with my friend.

我wǒ出门chūmén晚wǎn了le，坐zuò公共汽车gōnggòng qìchē去qù，车chē开kāi得de很hěn慢màn。

I left home late, so I took the bus, and it drove very slowly.

我wǒ给gěi朋友péngyou打电话dǎ diànhuà，说shuō：“路上lùshang车chē很hěn多duō，我wǒ可能kěnéng会huì晚wǎn一点yìdiǎn。”

I called my friend and said: "There's a lot of traffic on the way, I might be a little late."

朋友péngyou说shuō：“没关系méi guānxi，你nǐ慢慢mànmàn来lái，我们wǒmen等děng你nǐ。”

My friend said: "It's OK, take your time, we'll wait for you."

车chē快kuài到dào站zhàn的时候de shíhou，我wǒ又yòu打电话dǎ diànhuà说shuō：“我wǒ快kuài到dào了le，马上mǎshàng就jiù到dào！”

When the bus was almost at the stop, I called again and said: "I'm almost there, I'll be right there!"

车chē到dào了le车站chēzhàn，我wǒ下车xiàchē就jiù往wǎng饭馆fànguǎn跑pǎo。

The bus reached the stop, and as soon as I got off I ran toward the restaurant.

我wǒ跑pǎo进jìn饭馆fànguǎn，看见kànjiàn桌子zhuōzi上shàng已经yǐjīng放fàng着zhe我wǒ最zuì喜欢xǐhuan的de菜cài。

I ran into the restaurant and saw my favorite dish already sitting on the table.
