和同事吃午饭 Lunch with a Coworker

中午zhōngwǔ十二shí'èr点diǎn，我wǒ和hé同事tóngshì一起yìqǐ去qù吃chī午饭wǔfàn。

At noon, my coworker and I went to have lunch together.

公司gōngsī旁边pángbiān有yǒu一yì家jiā小xiǎo饭馆fànguǎn，那儿nàr的de菜cài很hěn有名yǒumíng。

Next to the company there's a small restaurant, and its dishes are famous.

同事tóngshì问wèn我wǒ：“你nǐ想xiǎng吃chī米饭mǐfàn还是háishi面条miàntiáo？”

My coworker asked me: "Would you like to eat rice or noodles?"

我wǒ说shuō：“都dōu可以kěyǐ，我wǒ不bù挑食tiāoshí。”

I said: "Either is fine, I'm not picky about food."

我们wǒmen点diǎn了le两liǎng个gè菜cài，还hái要yào了le一yì碗wǎn汤tāng。

We ordered two dishes, and also asked for a bowl of soup.

吃饭chīfàn的de时候shíhou，我们wǒmen聊liáo了le聊liáo公司gōngsī的de新xīn项目xiàngmù。

While eating, we chatted a bit about the company's new project.

这zhè顿dùn午饭wǔfàn很hěn简单jiǎndān，但是dànshì我们wǒmen都dōu很hěn开心kāixīn。

This lunch was simple, but we were both very happy.
