点菜 Ordering Food in Chinese

中午zhōngwǔ，我wǒ和hé同学tóngxué去qù饭馆fànguǎn吃饭chīfàn。

At noon my classmate and I go to a restaurant to eat.

服务员fúwùyuán问wèn我们wǒmen：“你们nǐmen想xiǎng吃chī什么shénme？”

The server asks us: "What would you like to eat?"

我wǒ点diǎn了le鱼yú，同学tóngxué点diǎn了le羊肉yángròu和hé米饭mǐfàn。

I ordered fish, and my classmate ordered lamb and rice.

我们wǒmen还hái要yào了le两liǎng杯bēi茶chá。

We also ordered two cups of tea.

菜cài来lái得de很hěn快kuài，鱼yú非常fēicháng好吃hǎochī。

The food came quickly, and the fish was really delicious.

吃chī完wán饭fàn，我们wǒmen就jiù回huí学校xuéxiào上课shàngkè了le。

After finishing the meal, we went right back to school for class.

这个zhège饭馆fànguǎn的de菜cài好吃hǎochī，也yě很hěn便宜piányi，我们wǒmen下次xià cì还hái想xiǎng来lái。

This restaurant's food is tasty and cheap; we want to come again next time.
