Last month I found a new job, so this Saturday I treated my friends to dinner.

我们wǒmen去qù了le公司gōngsī附近fùjìn的de一家yì jiā饭馆fànguǎn,那里nàlǐ的de菜cài又yòu好吃hǎochī又yòu便宜piányi。

We went to a restaurant near my company; the food there is both tasty and cheap.

我wǒ先xiān看kàn菜单càidān,给gěi大家dàjiā点diǎn了le六liù个gè菜cài和hé一些yìxiē啤酒píjiǔ。

I looked at the menu first and ordered six dishes and some beer for everyone.

我wǒ的de朋友péngyou小李Xiǎo Lǐ不bù喝hē啤酒píjiǔ,只zhǐ要yào了le一杯yì bēi甜甜的tiántián de果汁guǒzhī。

My friend Xiao Li doesn't drink beer; he only asked for a glass of sweet fruit juice.

我们wǒmen一边yìbiān吃饭chīfàn,一边yìbiān聊天儿liáotiānr,大家dàjiā都dōu非常fēicháng高兴gāoxìng。

We chatted while eating, and everyone was very happy.

吃chī完wán饭fàn,朋友们péngyoumen要yào给gěi钱qián,我wǒ笑xiào着zhe说shuō:“今天jīntiān我wǒ请客qǐngkè,谁shéi的de钱qián都dōu不bù要yào!”

After the meal, my friends wanted to pay, but I said with a smile: "Today it's my treat — I won't take anyone's money!"

他们tāmen说shuō下xià次cì他们tāmen请qǐng我wǒ,我们wǒmen就jiù这样zhèyàng决定juédìng了le。

They said next time they would treat me, and that's what we decided.
