太 + adjective + 了
太…了 wraps around an adjective to say something is excessive — "way too…". It works for complaints and for strong praise.
今天天气太热了！ — The weather today is way too hot!
想 + verb
想 before a verb means "want to / would like to"; 不想 means you don't feel like doing it.
我不想工作，我想喝水。 — I don't want to work; I want to drink water.
verb + 了 (completed action)
了 right after a verb shows the action is finished, often with an amount after it.
我喝了三杯水。 — I drank three cups of water.
