我wǒ和hé朋友péngyou去qù商店shāngdiàn买mǎi衣服yīfu，我wǒ看见kànjiàn一件yí jiàn衬衫chènshān，颜色yánsè很hěn好看hǎokàn。

My friend and I went to a store to buy clothes, and I saw a shirt whose color looked great.

我wǒ问wèn服务员fúwùyuán：“我wǒ可以kěyǐ试shì一下yíxià吗ma？”

I asked the clerk: "Can I try it on?"

服务员fúwùyuán说shuō：“当然dāngrán可以kěyǐ，镜子jìngzi在zài旁边pángbiān。”

The clerk said: "Of course, the mirror is right beside you."

我wǒ穿上chuānshàng衬衫chènshān，在zài镜子jìngzi前面qiánmiàn看kàn了le看kàn，觉得juéde有点儿yǒudiǎnr大dà。

I put on the shirt, looked at myself in the mirror, and felt it was a bit too big.

我wǒ问wèn服务员fúwùyuán：“有yǒu没有méiyǒu小xiǎo一点yìdiǎn的de号hào？”

I asked the clerk: "Do you have a smaller size?"

服务员fúwùyuán又yòu拿ná来lái一件yí jiàn，我wǒ穿上chuānshàng试shì了le试shì。

The clerk brought me another one, and I put it on and tried it out.

这次zhè cì不bú大dà也yě不bù小xiǎo，很hěn合适héshì。

This time it wasn't too big or too small — it fit just right.

我wǒ付fù了le钱qián，拿ná着zhe衬衫chènshān走zǒu出chū商店shāngdiàn，朋友péngyou还hái在zài旁边pángbiān试shì裙子qúnzi。

I paid, carried the shirt out of the store, and my friend was still nearby trying on a skirt.
