我wǒ有yǒu一个yí ge朋友péngyou住zhù在zài美国Měiguó，我们wǒmen很久hěnjiǔ没méi见面jiànmiàn了le。

I have a friend who lives in America; we haven't seen each other in a long time.

昨天zuótiān晚上wǎnshang，我wǒ开kāi电脑diànnǎo，和hé他tā在zài网上wǎngshàng聊天liáotiān。

Last night, I turned on my computer and chatted with him online.

他tā问wèn我wǒ最近zuìjìn怎么样zěnmeyàng，工作gōngzuò忙不忙máng bu máng。

He asked me how I've been recently, and whether work has been busy.

I told him that I've changed to a new job, and also moved to a new home.
