银行开户 Opening a Bank Account in Chinese

我wǒ刚gāng来lái北京Běijīng工作gōngzuò，今天jīntiān上午shàngwǔ去qù银行yínháng开户kāihù。

I just came to Beijing for work, and this morning I went to the bank to open an account.

银行yínháng里lǐ人rén很hěn多duō，我wǒ拿ná了le号hào以后yǐhòu，坐zuò着zhe等děng了le半bàn个gè小时xiǎoshí。

There were a lot of people in the bank; after taking a number, I sat waiting for half an hour.

工作人员gōngzuò rényuán问wèn我wǒ：“您nín带dài护照hùzhào了le吗ma？”

The staff member asked me: "Did you bring your passport?"

我wǒ说shuō：“带dài了le，这zhè是shì我wǒ的de护照hùzhào和hé手机shǒujī号码hàomǎ。”

I said: "Yes, here are my passport and my phone number."

她tā让ràng我wǒ写xiě名字míngzi，还hái让ràng我wǒ想xiǎng一个yí gè密码mìmǎ。

She had me write my name and also asked me to think of a password.

十五shíwǔ分钟fēnzhōng以后yǐhòu，我wǒ就jiù拿到nádào了le新xīn的de银行卡yínhángkǎ。

Fifteen minutes later, I got my new bank card.

有yǒu了le银行卡yínhángkǎ，我wǒ就jiù可以kěyǐ用yòng手机shǒujī花钱huā qián买mǎi东西dōngxi了le，真zhēn方便fāngbiàn！

With a bank card, I can now spend money with my phone to buy things — so convenient!
