几点开门 What Time Does It Open in Chinese

星期天xīngqītiān早上zǎoshang，我wǒ去qù银行yínháng，可是kěshì银行yínháng的de门mén关guān着zhe，一个yí ge人rén也yě没有méiyǒu。

Sunday morning, I went to the bank, but the bank's door was closed, and there wasn't a single person around.

我wǒ问wèn旁边pángbiān的de人rén：“银行yínháng几点jǐ diǎn开门kāimén？”

I asked the person next to me: "What time does the bank open?"

他tā说shuō：“银行yínháng九点jiǔ diǎn开门kāimén，现在xiànzài才cái八点bā diǎn。”

He said: "The bank opens at nine — it's only eight now."

我wǒ还hái要yào等děng一个yí ge小时xiǎoshí，就jiù先xiān去qù附近fùjìn的de商店shāngdiàn看kàn了le看kàn。

I still had an hour to wait, so I went to look around a nearby shop first.

过guò了le一会儿yíhuìr，我wǒ又yòu回到huídào银行yínháng，看见kànjiàn门mén开kāi着zhe，里面lǐmiàn已经yǐjīng有yǒu很多hěn duō人rén。

After a while, I went back to the bank and saw the door was open — inside, there were already many people.

我wǒ也yě进去jìnqù等děng着zhe，过guò了le半bàn个ge小时xiǎoshí，我wǒ的de事情shìqing就jiù做zuò完wán了le。

I went in and waited too, and after half an hour, my business was done.

我wǒ走zǒu出chū银行yínháng的de时候shíhou，看kàn了le看kàn时间shíjiān，才cái十shí点diǎn，我wǒ决定juédìng先xiān去qù吃饭chīfàn。

When I walked out of the bank, I checked the time — only ten o'clock — and I decided to go eat first.
