我搬家了 I Moved in Chinese

我wǒ给gěi朋友péngyou打电话dǎ diànhuà，说shuō：“好久hǎojiǔ不bú见jiàn，我wǒ有yǒu一yí件jiàn事shì要yào告诉gàosu你nǐ：我wǒ搬家bānjiā了le。”

I rang a friend: "Long time no see — I've got something to tell you: I moved."

新家xīnjiā离lí地铁站dìtiězhàn很hěn近jìn，走路zǒulù只要zhǐyào五wǔ分钟fēnzhōng。

The new home is very close to the subway station — it only takes five minutes on foot.

虽然suīrán房租fángzū贵guì了le一点yìdiǎn，但是dànshì附近fùjìn很hěn方便fāngbiàn，楼下lóuxià就jiù有yǒu超市chāoshì。

Although the rent is a bit more expensive, the area is very convenient — there's a supermarket right downstairs.

朋友péngyou问wèn我wǒ：“你nǐ什么时候shénme shíhou搬bān的de？为什么wèishénme突然tūrán搬家bānjiā？”

My friend asked me: "When did you move? Why so suddenly?"

我wǒ说shuō：“上个月shàng ge yuè搬bān的de，因为yīnwèi老lǎo房子fángzi太tài旧jiù了le，我们wǒmen决定juédìng搬bān走zǒu。”

I said: "Last month — because the old place was too run-down, we decided to move out."

我wǒ告诉gàosu她tā新xīn地址dìzhǐ，让ràng她tā周末zhōumò来lái我wǒ家jiā玩wán。

I gave her my new address and told her to come visit me on the weekend.

打完dǎwán电话diànhuà，我wǒ开始kāishǐ收拾shōushi房间fángjiān的de书架shūjià。

After finishing the call, I started tidying up the bookshelf in my room.
