选择工作 Choosing a Job

我wǒ要yào找zhǎo新xīn工作gōngzuò，现在xiànzài有yǒu两个liǎng ge机会jīhuì。

I want to find a new job; right now I have two opportunities.

一个yí ge工作gōngzuò离lí家jiā很hěn近jìn，钱qián不bú太tài多duō，但是dànshì很hěn轻松qīngsōng。

One job is close to home; it doesn't pay much, but it's relaxed and easy.

还有hái yǒu一个yí ge工作gōngzuò在zài别的biéde城市chéngshì，钱qián多duō一些yìxiē，可是kěshì要yào常常chángcháng出差chūchāi。

There's also a job in another city that pays a bit more, but I would need to travel for business often.

妈妈māma觉得juéde钱qián多duō的de工作gōngzuò更gèng好hǎo，以后yǐhòu可以kěyǐ买mǎi房子fángzi。

Mom thinks the higher-paying job is better, since later I could buy a house.

可是kěshì我wǒ不想bù xiǎng离开líkāi我的wǒ de家人jiārén和hé朋友péngyou。

But I don't want to leave my family and friends.

我wǒ想xiǎng了le很多hěn duō天tiān，最后zuìhòu选择xuǎnzé了le离lí家jiā近jìn的de工作gōngzuò。

I thought about it for many days, and finally chose the job close to home.

虽然suīrán钱qián不bù多duō，但是dànshì我wǒ每天měitiān都dōu很hěn轻松qīngsōng，也yě很hěn高兴gāoxìng。

Although it doesn't pay much, I feel relaxed every day, and also happy.

我wǒ觉得juéde，这个zhège决定juédìng是shì对duì的de。

I think this decision was the right one.
