夏天xiàtiān快kuài到dào了le，我wǒ和hé妻子qīzi打算dǎsuàn出去chūqu旅行lǚxíng一yí次cì。

Summer is almost here, and my wife and I are planning to take a trip.

我wǒ想xiǎng去qù南方nánfāng的de城市chéngshì看看kànkan，可是kěshì妻子qīzi更gèng想xiǎng去qù爬山páshān。

I want to visit a city in the south, but my wife would rather go mountain climbing.

后来hòulái我们wǒmen决定juédìng，先xiān去qù南方nánfāng的de城市chéngshì玩wán三sān天tiān，然后ránhòu再zài去qù爬山páshān。

In the end we decided to first spend three days in the southern city, and then go mountain climbing.

我wǒ在zài网上wǎngshàng看kàn了le很hěn多duō照片zhàopiàn，那个nàge城市chéngshì又yòu干净gānjìng又yòu漂亮piàoliang，街道jiēdào旁边pángbiān都dōu是shì树shù。

I looked at many photos online; the city is clean and beautiful, with trees all along the streets.

妻子qīzi说shuō：“我们wǒmen要yào早zǎo点儿diǎnr买mǎi飞机票fēijī piào，最近zuìjìn坐zuò飞机fēijī的de人rén越来越yuè lái yuè多duō。”

My wife said: "We should buy the plane tickets early — more and more people are flying these days."

买mǎi好hǎo票piào以后yǐhòu，我wǒ把bǎ地图dìtú和hé照相机zhàoxiàngjī都dōu放fàng进jìn了le行李箱xínglixiāng。

After buying the tickets, I put the map and the camera into the suitcase.

如果rúguǒ爬山páshān那天nà tiān下雨xiàyǔ，我们wǒmen就jiù在zài城市chéngshì里li多duō玩wán一yì天tiān。

If it rains on the day of the climb, we'll just spend one more day in the city.

还hái有yǒu两liǎng个gè星期xīngqī我们wǒmen就要jiùyào去qù旅行lǚxíng了le，我wǒ和hé妻子qīzi都dōu非常fēicháng高兴gāoxìng。

In just two weeks we'll be off on our trip, and my wife and I are both really excited.
