Recently our company started using artificial intelligence to write reports, and my colleagues' reactions have been very different.

有人yǒurén担心dānxīn自己zìjǐ的de工作gōngzuò会huì被bèi机器jīqì取代qǔdài，有人yǒurén却què觉得juéde终于zhōngyú可以kěyǐ少shǎo加班jiābān了le。

Some worry their jobs will be replaced by machines, while others feel they can finally work less overtime.

To be honest, I have both feelings.

The AI really is faster than me: it takes me two hours to write a summary, and it can finish one in two minutes.

But it also makes mistakes often, and it gets things wrong with such confidence that you simply cannot notice unless you check carefully.

So my job has slowly changed: before, I did the writing; now, I judge whether the machine wrote it correctly.

一yí位wèi老lǎo同事tóngshì说shuō，历史lìshǐ上shàng每měi次cì新xīn技术jìshù出现chūxiàn，人们rénmen都dōu害怕hàipà失业shīyè，最后zuìhòu总zǒng会huì出现chūxiàn新xīn的de职业zhíyè。

A senior colleague said that in history, every time a new technology appeared people feared unemployment, yet in the end new professions always emerged.

这zhè句jù话huà也许yěxǔ没错méi cuò，可是kěshì从cóng旧jiù工作gōngzuò到dào新xīn工作gōngzuò的de路lù，往往wǎngwǎng要yào走zǒu很多hěn duō年nián。

Those words may well be true, but the road from the old job to the new one often takes many years to walk.

我wǒ不bù知道zhīdào十shí年nián以后yǐhòu自己zìjǐ会huì做zuò什么shénme，只能zhǐ néng一边yìbiān使用shǐyòng这些zhèxiē工具gōngjù，一边yìbiān继续jìxù学习xuéxí。

I don't know what I will be doing ten years from now; all I can do is keep learning while I use these tools.
