Grammar note 语法点

请 + V + 一点(please do a bit more...)

请 makes a request polite; adding 一点 after 慢 softens it into "a bit slower."

请说慢一点。— Please speak a little slower.
请再 + V + 一次(please do it again)

再...一次 asks someone to repeat an action one more time.

请再说一次。— Please say it again.
听不懂(can't understand by listening)

听不懂 means you heard the words but the meaning didn't get through — different from just not hearing at all.

我听不懂,请说慢一点。— I don't understand; please speak a little slower.
