爷爷yéye打电话dǎ diànhuà给gěi我wǒ，说话shuōhuà很hěn快kuài，我wǒ听不懂tīng bu dǒng。

Grandpa calls me; he talks very fast, and I can't understand him.

我wǒ说shuō：“爷爷yéye，请qǐng说shuō慢màn一点yìdiǎn。”

I say: "Grandpa, please speak a little slower."

爷爷yéye慢慢mànmàn说shuō，可是kěshì我wǒ还hái没méi听tīng懂dǒng他tā说shuō的de名字míngzi。

Grandpa speaks slowly, but I still hadn't understood the name he said.

我wǒ说shuō：“爷爷yéye，请qǐng再zài说shuō一次yí cì。”

I say: "Grandpa, please say it again."

爷爷yéye又yòu说shuō了le一次yí cì，我wǒ听tīng懂dǒng了le，他tā要yào来lái我wǒ家jiā。

Grandpa said it again, and I understood: he's coming to my house.

我wǒ马上mǎshàng告诉gàosu家人jiārén：“爷爷yéye要yào来lái了le！”
