Grammar note 语法点

没意思 (boring)

没意思 describes something with no fun or appeal — the opposite of 有意思 (interesting). It works for movies, classes, or anything dull.

这个电影太没意思了。— This movie is way too boring.
才 + number (only; just)

才 before an amount makes it feel smaller or slower than expected — here it stresses how little time has passed.

才过了四十分钟。— Only forty minutes had passed.
还没 + verb,……就…… (before X even happened, ...)

还没 says something hasn't happened yet, and pairing it with 就 shows another action already cutting in.

电影还没结束,我们就走出了电影院。— The movie hadn't even ended, and we already walked out of the cinema.
