迷路 Getting Lost in Chinese

上shàng个gè周末zhōumò，我wǒ一个人yí gè rén骑qí自行车zìxíngchē去qù公园gōngyuán玩儿wánr。

Last weekend, I rode my bike to the park alone to have some fun.

回家huí jiā的de时候shíhou，天tiān黑hēi了le，我wǒ发现fāxiàn自己zìjǐ迷路mílù了le。

On the way home, it got dark, and I found that I was lost.

手机shǒujī也yě没méi电diàn了le，不bù能néng看kàn地图dìtú，我wǒ非常fēicháng着急zháojí。

My phone was out of battery too, so I couldn't check the map, and I was extremely anxious.

我wǒ问wèn路lù边biān的de一位yí wèi老人lǎorén：“请问qǐngwèn，去qù中山路Zhōngshān Lù怎么zěnme走zǒu？”

I asked an elderly man by the road: "Excuse me, how do I get to Zhongshan Road?"

他tā热情rèqíng地de说shuō：“你nǐ一直yìzhí向xiàng前qián走zǒu，到dào了le红绿灯hónglǜdēng，再zài向xiàng右边yòubian走zǒu十shí分钟fēnzhōng就jiù到dào了le。”

He said warmly: "Keep walking straight ahead; when you reach the traffic light, walk to the right for ten minutes and you'll be there."

我wǒ很hěn快kuài就jiù找到zhǎodào了le回家huí jiā的de路lù，心里xīnli终于zhōngyú放心fàngxīn了le。

I soon found the way home, and my heart was finally at ease.

以后yǐhòu我wǒ每měi次cì出门chūmén，都dōu会huì先xiān看kàn好hǎo地图dìtú。

From now on, every time I go out, I will check the map carefully first.
