骑自行车 Riding a Bike in Chinese

我wǒ家jiā离lí公司gōngsī不bú太tài远yuǎn，但是dànshì每天měi tiān坐zuò公共汽车gōnggòng qìchē上班shàngbān，车chē上shang人rén很hěn多duō。

My home isn't too far from my company, but I take the bus to work every day, and it's always crowded.

上个月shàng gè yuè，同事tóngshì对duì我wǒ说shuō：“你nǐ为什么wèishénme不bù骑qí自行车zìxíngchē上班shàngbān呢ne？又yòu方便fāngbiàn又yòu能néng锻炼duànliàn身体shēntǐ。”

Last month a colleague said to me: "Why don't you ride a bike to work? It's convenient and it's good exercise."

我wǒ觉得juéde他tā说shuō得de对duì，就jiù买mǎi了le一yí辆liàng新xīn自行车zìxíngchē。

I thought he was right, so I bought a new bicycle.

第一天dì yī tiān骑车qíchē的de时候shíhou，我wǒ的de腿tuǐ很hěn疼téng，骑qí得de也yě很hěn慢màn。

The first day I rode, my legs were sore and I rode very slowly.

可是kěshì我wǒ每天měi tiān都dōu骑qí，一个yí gè星期xīngqī以后yǐhòu，我wǒ骑qí得de越来越yuè lái yuè快kuài了le。

But I rode every day, and after a week I was riding faster and faster.

每天měi tiān早上zǎoshang，我wǒ一边yìbiān骑车qíchē，一边yìbiān看kàn街道jiēdào旁边pángbiān的de树shù和hé花huā，觉得juéde很hěn舒服shūfu。

Every morning I look at the trees and flowers along the street while I ride, and it feels wonderful.

现在xiànzài我wǒ已经yǐjīng习惯xíguàn了le骑qí自行车zìxíngchē上班shàngbān，身体shēntǐ也yě比bǐ以前yǐqián好hǎo多duō了le。

Now I'm used to biking to work, and my health is much better than before.

骑qí自行车zìxíngchē对duì环境huánjìng也yě好hǎo，我wǒ打算dǎsuàn以后yǐhòu一直yìzhí骑qí下去xiàqu。

Riding a bike is also good for the environment, and I plan to keep riding from now on.
