和室友相处 Getting Along with My Roommate

我wǒ和hé室友shìyǒu刚gāng住zhù在zài一起yìqǐ的de时候shíhou，关系guānxi并bìng不bù好hǎo。

When my roommate and I first started living together, our relationship wasn't good at all.

她tā喜欢xǐhuan晚上wǎnshang很hěn晚wǎn才cái睡觉shuìjiào，我wǒ却què习惯xíguàn早zǎo睡shuì早zǎo起qǐ。

She liked to go to sleep very late at night, whereas I was used to going to bed early and getting up early.

因为yīnwèi这个zhège问题wèntí，我们wǒmen吵chǎo过guò几次jǐ cì，气氛qìfēn变biàn得de越来越yuè lái yuè紧张jǐnzhāng。

Because of this problem, we argued several times, and the atmosphere became more and more tense.

后来hòulái，我们wǒmen决定juédìng坐zuò下来xiàlái好好hǎohǎo谈tán谈tán，把bǎ各自gèzì的de想法xiǎngfǎ都dōu说shuō出来chūlái。

Later, we decided to sit down and have a proper talk, and each spoke our own thoughts.

我们wǒmen一起yìqǐ定dìng了le一个yí ge规定guīdìng：十一点shíyī diǎn以后yǐhòu不bù开kāi灯dēng，也yě不bù大声dàshēng说话shuōhuà。

We set a rule together: after eleven o'clock, no turning on lights, and no talking loudly either.

如果rúguǒ有yǒu朋友péngyou要yào来lái，就jiù要yào提前tíqián告诉gàosu对方duìfāng一下yíxià。

If a friend wanted to come over, we would let the other person know in advance.

其实qíshí她tā人rén很hěn好hǎo，每次měi cì我wǒ生病shēngbìng，她tā都dōu会huì给gěi我wǒ买mǎi药yào。

Actually she's a really nice person — every time I got sick, she would buy medicine for me.

现在xiànzài我们wǒmen已经yǐjīng成chéng了le好朋友hǎo péngyou，我wǒ觉得juéde互相hùxiāng理解lǐjiě真的zhēnde很hěn重要zhòngyào。

Now we have already become good friends, and I feel that understanding each other is really important.
