地铁真方便 The Subway Is So Convenient — HSK 3 Reading

以前yǐqián我wǒ坐zuò公共汽车gōnggòng qìchē上班shàngbān，路上lùshang车chē很hěn多duō，常常chángcháng迟到chídào。

I used to take the bus to work; the roads were full of cars and I was often late.

同事tóngshì问wèn我wǒ：“你nǐ为什么wèi shénme不bú坐zuò地铁dìtiě呢ne？”

A coworker asked me, "Why don't you take the subway?"

我wǒ试shì了le一次yí cì，发现fāxiàn地铁dìtiě又yòu快kuài又yòu便宜piányi。

Last week it rained hard and the cars on the road moved especially slowly, but the subway was still fast.

现在xiànzài我wǒ每天měi tiān坐zuò地铁dìtiě上班shàngbān，再也zài yě没有méiyǒu迟到chídào过guo，地铁dìtiě真zhēn方便fāngbiàn！

Now I take the subway to work every day and haven't been late once — the subway is so convenient!
