My friend Xiao Li had been job-hunting for a long time, and hadn't found one.
上个星期，他去了一家公司面试。
Last week, he went to interview at a company.
昨天，公司打电话告诉他，可以去上班了。
Yesterday, the company called and told him he could start work.
小李很开心，马上给我打电话，告诉我这个好消息。
Xiao Li was so happy, he called me right away and told me the good news.
我说：“恭喜你，终于找到工作了！”
I said: "Congratulations, you finally found a job!"
晚上，几个同学一起请他吃饭，大家都对他说：“恭喜！”
In the evening, a few classmates treated him to a meal together, and everyone said to him: "Congratulations!"
小李拿起杯子，说：“谢谢大家，下次我请客。”
Xiao Li raised his glass: "Thank you all — next one's on me."

恭喜 + person (Congratulations, ...)
恭喜 is used to congratulate someone on good news — finding a job, passing an exam, getting married, or having a baby. Add 你 to speak directly to the person, or just say 恭喜恭喜 to a group.
恭喜你，终于找到工作了！— Congratulations, you finally found a job!
找到 (to successfully find)
找 means 'to look for', but 到 after it shows the search succeeded — 找到 means 'found it', while 没找到 means 'didn't find it.'
他找了很久，一直没找到。— He looked for a long time, and hadn't found one.
verb + 了 + duration (how long you did something)
Put 了 right after the verb, then add how long — 找了很久 means 'looked for a long time.'
他找工作找了很久。— He had been job-hunting for a long time.
